REVIEW: Chilean Progressive Rock band from Santiago, founded in May 2009 by Juan Pablo Espinoza, David Amar, Álvaro de la Barra and Michel Leon. With strong reminiscences of the classic prog, Anima deepens in the human vicissitudes of life and experiment with sonorities, rhythms and instruments to create afresh and power sound. In 2014, after a long process of arrangement, recording and mastering, they delivered "DEUS", a conceptual album that explores the idea of a mathematical singularity linking all existence, through a numerical succession, theory exposed by Fibonacci in the thirteenth century. Thus, human life, in which the songs of the album are inspired, is a projection of the behavior of matter, without a divine meaning or purpose. Music leads, from intricate and obscure passages, to lyrical and vibrant melodies, reflecting the human ascent of knowledge and emptiness that faces death and loneliness.
